Victoria Falls region is well-known for being host
to magnificent falls; it also boasts a championship
golf course. Golfers take note - wild game roaming
free can wreak havoc on your golf swing and bunker
shots.
The 18-hole Elephant Hills championship
golf course, designed by a legend Gary Player,
provides more than enough of a challenge for
passionate golfers. Situated three kilometers from
the Zambezi river, it is home to a variety of
wildlife with crocodiles in eight of the waterholes!
The scenic golf course is surrounded by a verdant
indigenous forest and features a grand, old baobab.
Eight of the holes have water hazards and bunkers
encourage accurate approach shots. Elephant, buffalo
and warthog wander along the specially erected game
fence. The beautifully maintained fairways and
greens have been planted with imported grasses and
modern irrigation systems to guarantee that they are
always lush.
